Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films, mostly in the martial arts or horror categories. Her style and method are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action films and has a fascination with the morbid. After getting some attention in the forums that are part of Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) She began to write reviews in late 2009. She remained on the site until the beginning of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was retooled into Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts which focus on the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! also featured her. Her appearances in Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of shite films for children or RiffTrax however, she also appeared in some adult-oriented comedy. She began reviewing movies in the latter half of 2009, and was soon gaining recognition through channels like the Channel Awesome forums before officially joining the reviewers of the channel's family. Her appearances have included a variety in Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She has appeared in numerous episodes from Nostalgia Critic and was a one of the original members of the Channel Awesome family with Doug Walker.
